PART I — PAID SESSIONS
CLIENT POLICIES
These are the working policies for all Rawhall sessions. They apply to every offer in Pricing unless otherwise agreed in writing.
SECTION 1.1
CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & REFUNDS
RESCHEDULING
Rescheduling is allowed up to 7 days before the session date, subject to availability. Booking fees and any upfront production costs (studio and/or film/material) transfer to the new date. Reschedule requests inside 7 days are handled case by case and may require a new booking fee depending on the situation. For outdoor film sessions, weather-related reschedules are accommodated when conditions clearly affect the work.
CANCELLATIONS
The booking fee is nonrefundable. Upfront production costs — studio cost and film/material cost — are nonrefundable once paid, since they're purchased or reserved specifically for the session.
NO-SHOWS
A missed session without notice is treated as a cancellation. All paid amounts are forfeited and a new booking fee is required to schedule again.
DELIVERED IMAGES
Once edited images are delivered, the session is complete. Delivered images are nonrefundable. Concerns about the work can be discussed, but the work itself is not refundable after delivery.
IF I HAVE TO CANCEL
If I cancel on my end — illness, equipment failure, conditions beyond my control — you can choose to reschedule at no extra cost or receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
SECTION 1.2
IMAGE USAGE & LICENSING
WHAT YOUR BOOKING INCLUDES
Session pricing covers personal use of the delivered images. That means your personal portfolio, personal social media, and personal sharing. You're free to use the images this way without additional fees.
WHAT IT DOES NOT INCLUDE
Booking fees do not include a commercial license. Commercial use means anything tied to advertising, brand or business marketing, paid promotion, products for sale, monetized content, or paywalled platforms. If the images will be used commercially in any form, a separate commercial license is required.
COMMERCIAL LICENSING
Commercial licenses are quoted by inquiry, scaled to scope, reach, and duration of use. Reach out before publishing if you're unsure whether your use qualifies — easier to confirm in advance than to fix later.
COPYRIGHT
I retain copyright of all images produced. Your booking grants a personal-use license, not ownership.
PART II — TIME FOR PRINT
TFP POLICY
Working terms for all Rawhall TFP collaborations. They apply to any non-monetary creative exchange and are separate from Part I, which covers paid sessions. TFP is a different agreement — not a discount on a paid session.
SECTION 2.1
WHAT TFP MEANS
WHAT TFP MEANS AT RAWHALL
Time for Print is a collaboration where neither party pays the other in money. The exchange is value for value: my time, direction, and finished images for your time, presence, and the right to use the work. TFP is not a discount on a paid session — it's a different agreement entirely. I take it on selectively, when the concept fits Rawhall and there is clear mutual benefit on both sides.
CONCEPT FIT
I only run TFP shoots when the concept aligns with Rawhall's creative direction and contributes meaningfully to the archive. I reserve the right to decline a TFP request without explanation. Fit means the work earns its place in Rawhall — not just a portfolio image for either of us.
SECTION 2.2
MUTUAL DELIVERABLES
If either side can't hold up their half, the shoot is rescheduled or canceled. TFP only works when the trade is real on both sides.
WHAT I COMMIT TO
- Creative direction and shoot planning
- Shooting the session
- Image selection, color and exposure editing
- Delivery of an agreed number of finished images on a rough timeline discussed at booking
WHAT YOU COMMIT TO
- Showing up on time, prepared, and ready to work
- Wardrobe, styling, and any other prep agreed in advance
- Professional conduct on set
- Allowing usage of the work as outlined below
SECTION 2.3
COSTS, CONFIRMATIONS & CANCELLATIONS
STUDIO & MATERIAL COSTS
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, I cover production costs (studio, film/material, location fees) when I choose to use a paid space. If you offer to contribute, that's appreciated, but it isn't expected. Outdoor and low/no-cost locations are the default for TFP unless the concept specifically calls for a studio.
CONFIRMATIONS
TFP shoots require explicit confirmation from you at three checkpoints: one week before, 48 hours before, and the morning of. If you go silent or non-committal at any of these, I reserve the right to cancel and avoid committing further costs. This isn't punitive — it's how I keep TFP workable.
RESCHEDULING
One reschedule with 7 days' notice is allowed without consequence. Reschedule requests inside 7 days are handled case by case. A second reschedule request, regardless of timing, ends the collaboration unless I choose to continue.
CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
If you cancel inside 7 days or no-show without notice on a shoot where I've already paid for studio time or other production costs, you agree to reimburse the documented amount within 30 days. Failure to reimburse forfeits any usage rights to images from this or any prior collaboration with me, and ends the working relationship. If I cancel on my end, nothing is owed by you.
SECTION 2.4
IMAGE USAGE
YOUR SIDE
You may use the delivered images for personal portfolio and unpaid social media promotion only.
You may not:
- Sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise monetize the images
- Use them for advertising, brand or business promotion, paid content, products for sale, or paywalled platforms
- Apply filters or edits that significantly alter the work
- Claim authorship or misrepresent how the images were made
MY SIDE
I may use the work freely across Rawhall's portfolio, social media, website, exhibitions, archive entries, and printed materials. TFP shoots are part of Rawhall's creative output and may be published as such.
Because TFP is not a monetary exchange, commercial licensing is not available for purchase later. If you want commercial use of any image, that requires a different agreement and a different shoot — not a license bought against TFP work.
SECTION 2.5
COPYRIGHT
COPYRIGHT
I retain copyright of all images produced. TFP grants you a personal-use license, not ownership.
